The Millican Reserve Land Conservancy protects, maintains, and promotes the practical and ecologically-sound, long-term use of land at Millican Reserve, integrating farming, recreation, conservation, and education to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Millican Reserve and the Brazos Valley. Our mission is to provide outdoor resources and education and to inspire future leaders so that the community, both children and adults, becomes healthier and energized through an ever-improving connection to nature.
The Conservancy focuses on conservation, education, agriculture, and recreation to support a healthy connection between people and nature. We care for the land by managing its natural habitats, fostering biodiversity, and preserving its resources for future generations. At the same time, we create programs and opportunities for the community to celebrate the outdoors, learn new skills, and engage with their surroundings.
