Located at the Farm Entrance to Millican Reserve, the Market is an open-air space ideal for casual gatherings, community events, and outdoor receptions. With a covered pavilion and easy access to trails, ponds, and green spaces, it’s a great setting for group activities and social events. The relaxed atmosphere makes it an excellent choice for everything from farm-to-table dinners to outdoor workshops and live music.
There are many sites perfect for a romantic proposal, including The Grove and the dock at The Boathouse. Proposals and engagement photo sessions must be scheduled in advance. Please email us at events@millicanreserve.com for more information.
Schedule permitting, we typically allow for an additional 30 minute visit closer to your event date for clients to have a second look if needed. Please note that Millican Reserve does not provide event planning services.
Yes, there is a $100 surcharge for any bookings that fall on major holidays.
Most of our couples prefer to make their own arrangements, so we do not offer any packages.

Professional photographers must make a reservation in advance of visiting and may be subject to a fee.
None of our venue spaces include kitchen facilities or refrigeration. Outside caterers are welcome.
You may cancel your Event by giving Millican Reserve written notice at least three days prior to the Event date. Any payments that have made to Millican Reserve on or before the cancellation date are non-refundable.
You are responsible for returning the venue to its original condition to avoid extra charges. You should expect to sweep or mop, wipe down table tops, and take all trash to the dumpster. Cleaning products are provided.
You may bring in any decor you'd like provided that it is removed at the end of the rental. No staples, tape, glue, Command hooks or nails may be used as they will damage painted surfaces and lift stain from wood. Glitter and confetti of any kind are prohibited and will result in a damage charge if found at the conclusion of the event. Balloons are discouraged.
Complimentary tours are available by appointment only. Tours can typically be scheduled during regular business hours. Email events@millicanreserve.com or fill out the online form to request a tour.
Your hours of accessibility are listed in your contract. Please plan accordingly and be efficient with the use of your time.
No A/V equipment or speakers are included with any of our venue spaces.
We require a non-refundable down payment of 50% of the total rental fee plus a $500 security deposit. The security deposit is returned within a timely manner after your event less any damages.
We accept reservations no more than 18 months in advance of the event date.
A signed contract and non-refundable down payment of 50% of total venue fees are required to reserve a date. We can not hold dates without a signed contract.
Absolutely! Central air and heat are provided. You are welcome set the thermostat at whatever temperature is comfortable for your group for the duration of your rental. Please reset the thermostat upon leaving.
No. You'll need to provide your own linens.
All venues at Millican Reserve are available for rental by any individual or group. Homeowners may be eligible for discounted rental rates.
Millican Reserve has an open vendor policy. We do have a list of vendors that we recommend, but you are more than welcome to choose a vendor not on our list. All vendors must be approved and have adequate insurance and licensing.
Security for events serving alcohol or having over 100 guests is the only exception. You must use BadgeHire for security.
Additional hours may be added for a fee to almost all of our rental options. Please be sure to check with us for availability.
Parties that overstay their contracted time may be subject to penalty charges.
All alcohol must be served by a TABC licensed and insured bartender. Security is required and must be present 30 minutes before alcohol is served until 30 minutes after the bar closes. Full rules can be found in our contract under the Alcoholic Beverages Rider.
