Yes, we have adopted the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) requires students in K-12 public and private schools to be immunized against diseases like diphtheria/tetanus/pertussis, polio, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, and meningitis (7th grade). Proof of vaccination is required for enrollment. We recognize that some individuals may not be fully immunized due to medical reasons. If your child has a medical exemption, you'll be able to upload a note from your child’s physician stating the specific medical reason for exemption. An affidavit exemption for reasons of conscience document is not accepted with our new policy. While we respect every family's personal beliefs, our current policy allows exemptions for documented medical reasons only, as confirmed by a licensed physician. A conscientious exemption rather than a medical one does not meet our camp’s immunization policy requirements.

There are 30 miles of interconnecting trails at Millican Reserve. We have trails for hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders.
Millican Reserve’s trails are open daily from sun up until sundown. Trails are closed during and immediately after periods of rain. Riding muddy trails leaves ruts, contributes to erosion and creates and unrideable, hard-to-repair trail surface. The trails temporarily close for marathons and other racing events throughout the year.
No. You must have an active Conservancy Membership, Resident Membership, TrailPass, or DayPass to access the trails. Proceeds support trail maintenance.
All homeowners automatically become Resident Members of the Conservancy.
Visit our registration page to choose your Membership level—Individual or Family—and sign up online. Annual memberships receive even more perks!
Conservancy Members receive trail access, program discounts, and invitations to exclusive events while supporting conservation.
The Millican Reserve Land Conservancy is a nonprofit steward of the land that manages conservation efforts, community programs, and public engagement with nature.
All trail users must be Conservancy Members, TrailPass holders, or purchase a DayPass. Minors listed under a parent’s Membership or TrailPass do not need their own pass.
The Conservancy works closely with its community partners, like the Brazos Valley Mountain Bike Association, to build and maintain the healthiest private trails in the region. Dues from Conservancy members help support the maintenance of this remarkable resource.
