Spooky Night Hike

Embrace the Halloween spirit with our Spooky Night Hike at Millican Reserve! This special evening hike, taking place just before Halloween, offers a fun and slightly eerie adventure through the moonlit trails of the Reserve. This guided hike is not haunted, but you’ll experience the thrill of the outdoors at night, with:

Spooky sounds and stories shared along the way

Highlights of nocturnal animals and their night-time behaviors

Hints of Halloween ambiance with lanterns, glow sticks, and the mystery of the woods after dark

Whether you're a fan of fall, nature, or just a good excuse to get outside after hours, this hike is a safe and festive way to enjoy the season. Costumes are welcome but must be trail-appropriate and safe for hiking. Recommended for ages 10 and up. What to Bring:

A refillable water bottle

Closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing

A flashlight or headlamp (red light preferred)

Parking: Please use the Farm Entrance to Millican Reserve (19851 FM 2154). Designated parking is available at Basecamp. You MAY NOT PROCEED past the parking area in your vehicle. All outdoor events are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Registered attendees will be notified via email in the event of a cancellation.
