The Grove is an open-air event space nestled among mature post oaks along the shoreline of our beautiful 40-acre lake. String lights overhead can add a soft, natural glow that transforms the space from daytime gatherings to evening celebrations. Designed for simplicity, the Grove allows the beauty of the water and land to set the tone for your event. It’s an ideal setting for those who want a gathering that feels authentic, peaceful, and connected to nature. You may cancel your Event by giving Millican Reserve written notice at least three days prior to the Event date. Any payments that have made to Millican Reserve on or before the cancellation date are non-refundable.
You may bring in any decor you'd like provided that it is removed at the end of the rental. No staples, tape, glue, Command hooks or nails may be used as they will damage painted surfaces and lift stain from wood. Glitter and confetti of any kind are prohibited and will result in a damage charge if found at the conclusion of the event. Balloons are discouraged.
Complimentary tours are available by appointment only. Tours can typically be scheduled during regular business hours. Email events@millicanreserve.com or fill out the online form to request a tour.
Your hours of accessibility are listed in your contract. Please plan accordingly and be efficient with the use of your time.
No A/V equipment or speakers are included with any of our venue spaces.
We require a non-refundable down payment of 50% of the total rental fee plus a $500 security deposit. The security deposit is returned within a timely manner after your event less any damages.
We accept reservations no more than 18 months in advance of the event date.
A signed contract and non-refundable down payment of 50% of total venue fees are required to reserve a date. We can not hold dates without a signed contract.
Millican Reserve has an open vendor policy. We do have a list of vendors that we recommend, but you are more than welcome to choose a vendor not on our list. All vendors must be approved and have adequate insurance and licensing.
Security for events serving alcohol or having over 100 guests is the only exception. You must use BadgeHire for security.
Additional hours may be added for a fee to almost all of our rental options. Please be sure to check with us for availability.
Parties that overstay their contracted time may be subject to penalty charges.
All alcohol must be served by a TABC licensed and insured bartender. Security is required and must be present 30 minutes before alcohol is served until 30 minutes after the bar closes. Full rules can be found in our contract under the Alcoholic Beverages Rider.
