Cool down and wind down with Millican Reserve’s Beat the Heat: Sunset Hike! Join us for a guided evening walk along Prescott Trail, starting at the Boathouse, where we’ll explore the natural beauty of Millican as the day fades into dusk. This free, family-friendly event offers the perfect way to enjoy nature during the warmer months while avoiding the midday heat. Participants will experience the changing light of golden hour, observe evening wildlife activity, and enjoy the refreshing breeze off Lake Prescott as the sun sets. All ages and experience levels are welcome. Please bring water, wear comfortable walking shoes, and arrive early to check in before the hike begins. Parking Please use the Farm Entrance to Millican Reserve (19851 FM 2154) and follow signs to the Boathouse for designated parking. You MAY NOT PROCEED past the parking area in your vehicle. All outdoor events are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Registered attendees will be notified via email in the event of a cancellation. Cool down and wind down with Millican Reserve’s Beat the Heat: Sunset Hike!
