Celebrate the changing of the seasons with Millican Reserve’s Fall Equinox Hike!
Join us for a free, guided morning hike along Prescott Trail, beginning at Basecamp, as we welcome the first day of fall. Participants will experience the beauty of nature in transition — when day and night are perfectly balanced — and explore how local plants and wildlife prepare for the cooler months ahead.
The Outdoor Coordinator will share insights into seasonal changes in the ecosystem, including migration, plant dormancy, and fall foraging behaviors. This is a peaceful and reflective way to connect with nature and the community while celebrating the arrival of autumn in the Brazos Valley.
Please bring water, wear comfortable walking shoes, and dress for the weather.
Parking
Please use the Farm Entrance to Millican Reserve (19851 FM 2154). Designated parking is at the Basecamp grassy area. You MAY NOT PROCEED past the Farm area in your vehicle.
All outdoor events are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Registered attendees will be notified via email in the event of a cancellation.
