First Day of Spring Hike 

Celebrate the arrival of a new season with our First Day of Spring Hike at Millican Reserve!
Join us for a free, guided hike along Prescott Trail as we welcome the first signs of spring — fresh blooms, songbirds, and the subtle return of green across the landscape. 

Led by our Outdoor Coordinator, this hike offers a relaxing way to enjoy nature’s renewal while learning about the seasonal changes taking place in Millican’s diverse ecosystem. Participants will explore native plants beginning to flower, observe early pollinator activity, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the property waking up after winter. 

This event is open to all ages and experience levels — come enjoy the beauty of Millican and start your spring on the right foot! 

Parking
Please use the Farm Entrance to Millican Reserve (19851 FM 2154). Designated parking is at the Basecamp grassy area. You MAY NOT PROCEED past the Farm area in your vehicle. 

All outdoor events are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Registered attendees will be notified via email in the event of a cancellation.
